Eco Tours and Beach Adventures
Your time is precious, spend it wisely.
When it comes to time spent with friends and family you can never get enough. Your time off is too valuable to spend sitting in ferry lines all morning to get to your destination with just enough time to turn around and do the sailing wait shuffle again to get back.
When you come on a charter with Frontier Adventures there’s no waiting, from the minute you step on board your vacation begins.
We depart from Comox Marina located in the center of the Comox Valley. Comox Marina Park offers many amenities for locals and visitors alike. With a host of food trucks serving excellent local food, timing your charter for a meal before or after is a great way to enhance your experience. The park has public washrooms as well as two playgrounds, a seasonal splash park and hosts many local events and festivals throughout the year. Click here to see a map of free public parking areas.
With heated indoor seating for 6, flush toilet and room for all your gear, we don’t just get you to your destination fast but comfortable, safe, and relaxed. A great day at the beach requires a lot of adventure supplies and we have room for all of them. Not only do we have room for all your chairs, coolers, sun shelters and everything else to make a deluxe beach spread, we can bring your paddle boards, inflatables and even small kayaks for everyone to enjoy. If paddling isn’t part of your ideal beach day no problem! You and your groups gear will be safely shuttled to shore in our zodiac. At the end of your beach stay you will be picked up and shuttled back to to our vessel or load directly depending on location and sea conditions.
Prices are not per person, charter price is for boat including up to 6 guests and gear.

Savary Island Eco Tour and beach day
Known as Hawaii of the north for good reason, Savary Island is an absolute gem hidden to all but the most adventurous locals. Savary Island is made up entirely of sand and with shallow waters surrounding the island for miles it boasts the warmest ocean water in British Columbia as the sun heats the shallow sea to near tropical temperatures. Once experienced it becomes instantly obvious why Savary Island gets its reputation as Hawaii of the north. Traditionally travelers would have to take a ferry to Powell River, drive up the sunshine coast to Lund, then hire a water taxi to get there. An impossible amount of travel to truly experience the islands beauty and eclectic attractions in one day.
Come aboard with Frontier Adventure Charters and let us combine an unforgettable cruise to and from Savary Island with as much time as you’d like to explore and enjoy your time on there. You will see local favorites “Little Mexico” beach, Goose Spit, Lazo Bluffs, and Tree Island (Sandy Island Provincial Park) as we leave Comox. We commonly see a variety of marine life including Bald Eagles, Harbor Seals, Stellar and California Sealions, Porpoise, Orca and Humpback Whales on our way to and from Savary Island. A tour of Mitlenatch Island can also be included for guests with a love of seabirds. This ecological sanctuary is a nesting site for many species of marine birds and is a hotspot for bird watching and photography. Once we reach Savary Island you can be dropped off at almost any place on the shoreline you’d like to spend the day on your own piece of paradise. After your allotted time on Savary you will be picked up and enjoy an approximately 1 hour cruise back to Comox Marina.
